These terms apply to www.weareuand.com and to every event organised by WEAREÜAND in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. By RSVPing, signing up for updates or attending an event you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not RSVP or attend.

RSVP is free and puts your name on the door list. It is not a ticket and does not guarantee entry. Entry is first come, first served, subject to venue capacity, and the door may close early when the room is full. Arrive early if you want to be sure.

At the door, say the name you RSVPed with. It must match your government-issued photo ID. RSVPs are personal and cannot be transferred or resold.

Our events take place in licensed venues and are 19+ (valid ID required). Anyone who cannot show valid ID proving they are 19 or older will be refused entry, RSVP or not.

Each event has a dress code, published on the event page and in your boarding-pass email. For Away at Höme: Clean fits: button-ups, dresses, linen, tailored pieces, good shoes. No sweatpants, gym wear or overly casual looks. Door staff decide whether an outfit meets the code and their decision is final.

The venue's own rules (bag checks, prohibited items, last call, smoking areas) apply alongside ours. The venue and its security staff may refuse or remove anyone at their discretion.

We and the venue may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who is visibly intoxicated, aggressive, harassing others, not following the dress code, or otherwise putting the night at risk. No refund applies because RSVP is free, and we may decline future RSVPs from anyone removed from an event.

Come to meet people and treat them well. Harassment, discrimination, violence, theft, drug use and damage to the venue are grounds for immediate removal and may be reported to the police. Look after yourself and each other, and listen to our hosts and venue staff.

We take photos and video at our events. By attending you agree that WEAREÜAND may use images and recordings in which you appear on our website, social media, emails and other promotional material, without payment. If you would rather not appear in a specific image, email us and we will do our best to remove it.

Line-ups, set times, venues and dates can change. If an event is cancelled, postponed or moved we will tell everyone on the RSVP list by email and on Instagram as early as we can. Because RSVP is free we are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you incur around an event.

You attend at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WEAREÜAND, its team members and volunteers are not liable for personal injury, loss, theft or damage to property, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from an event or from use of this site, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the laws of British Columbia.

The content, logos and branding on this site belong to WEAREÜAND and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Links to third-party sites (Instagram, Spotify, venues) are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content. Your personal information is handled as described in our privacy policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of British Columbia.
